Marina started tap dancing at age 11 with the biggest name of the Brazilian tap scene Christiane Matallo and by age 15 she was already teaching her peers. She danced semi-professionally until age 18.

10 years later, Marina was once again dancing professionally in an intense course at the Broadway Dance Center’s International Student Program where she worked regularly with: Barbara Duffy, Andrew Nemr, Jared Grimes, Derrick Grant and Michelle Dorrance. Marina also participated at New York City Ensemble/2008 with Ayodele Casel and Chicago Human Rhythm Project with Dianne Walker.

Now living in NYC, Marina is a current student at BDC and Steps on Broadway with Randy Skinner, Chet Walker, Doroti Koppel (ballet), and more!
